Still a good time capsule and indicative of my suspicion that the person who sold me them never bothered reading Shiver and shakes when they were bought (as I assumed the junkmail would no longer be present if they had). As I recall I found only 2-3 in all. I'll dig them out as I kept them in the issue they were inserted. I can get a ho res photo to you in a few days.Dr Andy Oliverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14605901726381893738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3867654097524146577.post-22903125039240152352013-01-21T20:18:42.834+00:002013-01-21T20:18:42.834+00:00Thanks for sharing your memories, Andy, I am happy...Thanks for sharing your memories, Andy, I am happy the post helped bring them back :) I'd be very interested to see pictures of the advertising cards. Were they for Shiver and Shake? Would it be too much trouble if I asked you to send me some? I believe they'd make an interesting blogpost. My parents were redecorating the kitchen and allowed me to place the stickers on the wall prior to being plastered over by wallpaper. Over the years as we redecorated I would get a glimpse of the stickers as I peeled the old wall paper away. I loved Creepy Creations and Frankie Stein.I did eventually give the comics (a full set) awaybut the memories lingered. Eventually in the early days of ebay I managed to get a complete set - near mint with some of the original advertising cards which used to be inserted by the distributer. One thing I'm suprised by is that Moana Lisa survived for so long - I found that strip awful!

Good to see that so many entries must have been coming in for their competitions! If that is the case, I'm suprised the comic folded so quickly!

George Shiershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03162253849922362900noreply@blogger.com
